Cara Humphrey a registered dietician focusing on weight management & sports nutrition. Her practice is currently based in Sandton Johannesburg.  Her dietetics qualification was obtained from the University of Natal (PMB). She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Nutrition from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Lausanne Switzerland as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PDM) from Wits Business School.

Cara is currently the dietician for the National Senior men’s Football team (Bafana Bafana). She has worked as the consultant dietician with various sporting teams and bodies including Ironman SA™ and Triangle Institute in 2008,  Kaizer Chiefs Premier leaguer Football team,, SA women’s hockey, Golden Lions Rugby Union and Gauteng Academy netball.

As  an accredited SASCOC dietician Cara consults with both recreational & elite athletes. She was 1 of 2 South African dieticians on the International Nutrition Organising committee for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games Village dining services

Cara is also a highly regarded nutrition consultant providing marketing trends, insight, as well as regulatory advice to various food and nutraceutical industry clients.
